My guide was Ghulam Sabir and he was fantastic. I was the only person on the tour and he let me choose where I wanted to go. We stopped at so many forts and run down mosques from centuries ago. Unfortunately, a lot of typical tourist places were under renovation since the September month is not typical tourist season. Al Ain was a great place to get away from other busier cities. It really takes you back to simpler times and the good thing is that a lot of the sites are within close range so it is a short drive.
